Posting this to give it a run for public opinion; on one hand it's rather well done, on the other it's also a topless centaur.

    JaceNV

It doesn't really seem like there's much of a sexual vibe to it or anything, it's okay. But when it inevitably gets downvoted and deleted I won't complain, allowing this to exist would open a can of worms that I doubt anyone wants to deal with.

    MyEarsAreFlopping

I'm fine with this; it's not prurient or creepy.

    Aurora

there's not really anything wrong with this but enough people will raise a stink that it gets deleted

    weedgoku

It's good art, and doesn't give me that telltale gut feeling of creepiness but personally I think the booru should forbid nude human genitals + breasts.

    Westy543

Most of the comments have been "Well I THINK this will get deleted but-" and it hasn't really received any overwhelming negativity.

I think in general we've been pretty good about forbidding genitals as a whole and most over-sexualization. Over-sexualization is not the case here, so I think it's okay, personally.

    macchinainterna

This doesn't have a creepy, sexual feel to it, nor is the nudity here really that graphic imo. I think this is a sincere interpretation of the centaurs in Fantasia, really.

That said, I do agree with weedgoku in that we should still stick to our guns on not allowing nudity on here.

    SarahNatalie

I think this isn't creepy or over-sexualized and see no reason why it should be removed.

    numsOic

    I don't even know anymore.

Behold the glory of the case-by-case basis.

If people start seriously complaining about this, FFS

    It's fine.

    snakeinabox

Not that it matters, but Imma say no for this. It's too close to furry and I'd rather we be more strict than lax with posting rules. That's not to say this isn't "good" I would just rather err on the side of caution with pieces like this.

Edit: not to say that broni would be ruined if this stayed.

I remember uploading a picture that got deleted for less (choice quote: "she is topless under the hat"). Goons gotta goon.

Your picture was creepy and sexualized, though. It's different.

    Grue

Completely covered up women - creepy and sexualized, nude centauri - not creepy and not sexualized. Got it. I'm trying really hard to avoid going on a long rant, but is this really a thing I'm reading in twenty first century?

Sexualization and clothing (or the lack thereof) have almost nothing to do with each other. I haven't seen the picture you guys are talking about, but yes, it's perfectly possible for a picture of a fully clothed woman to be sexualized, and for a picture of a naked woman (or centaur) to not be.

Humanized AJ topless and covering her boobs with her hat (assuming that's the one your talking about) for no reason is weird and gross. This is just a centaur, like in Fantasia. There's not really an argument here.

    Grue

    MyEarsAreFlopping:

Yeah, but there is certainly a mindset where a person is downvoting every humanized picture, because to them women are inherently sexualized, to the point of being "topless under the hat" (actual quote! like they have an x-ray vision or something! now that's creepy if you ask me...). It's been bothering me a lot lately.

    londonarbuckle:

    > weird and gross

See, that's what I'm talking about. "Ewww, females". Her body was completely covered by the hat. If what's under people's clothes is too gross for you, then stop trying to imagine what's under their clothes. You are being creepy when you do it, not the picture. "No reason". Is there a reason why centaurs are naked in Fantasia (if they even are? I don't think Disney does nudity...)

It's like things are black-and-white, but it's actually some alien colors in the x-ray part of the electromagnetic spectrum, so the unreasonably diametric opposites don't even make sense.

Sexualiziation is a little deeper than "covered" or "not covered".

    XavierGenisi

I'm less offended by the picture and more offended by the sexualization of the comments section.

Posting long-winded arguments and getting nowhere with the issue between each other. PERVERTS.

(the picture is neato and inoffensive)

    Grue

That's the problem of using subjective criteria as if they were objective  I prefer objective criteria like "covered" and "not covered", but that's just me.

    numsOic

Every picture should have, below the score, an option to vote for "creepy/not creepy" and everyone would vote one way or the other and after a certain creepy score it gets deleted.

Trying to rationalize this stuff usually ends up with ad-hoc arguments that are inconsistent with previous rulings. Let's just admit that it's completely subjective.

Edit: For what it's worth, women don't normally cover their torso with a hat.

    Westy543

Hey guys, can we keep the discussion pertinent to *this* image and not another? Thanks.

    weedgoku

But then we'd all agree on something :gotcha:

    Perrydotto

I agree with the general notion. This is akin to the centaurs in Fantasia and works well. Nothing creepy to see here.

    RedeyeFlight

The consensus has been drawn, I hereby commandeth thee to SHUT THE HELL UP.

    Please.

God damn it Redeye that's not proper Elizabethan conjugation
